We previously tested and reviewed the Thule Motion XT L Roof Box, which is still in great shape after 6 years of use, and now have tested the newer version of the product, named the “Thule Motion 3 L” and are even more impressed. Thule took all of the great features of the original and added to it with additional steel structure for strength. There are now support bars along the front and top interiors that will hold the shape and add strength to the box (see photos below). I never had any problems with the original one in these areas, so maybe it is advance planning on their part. I’ve also asked Thule support several questions, and consider their service to be top-notch. They are fast, knowledgeable, multilingual, and share with you some of the good they’re doing in the world with notes like this upon closing a support case:
